How do I connect my Google Business Profile?

In the dashboard, go to Locations and choose Connect Google account. You sign in on Google’s own page and approve read-and-reply access to your reviews. Setup takes about two minutes, and we import up to a year of review history so your first dashboard has real trends in it.

You must be an owner or manager of the Business Profile. If your website agency set the listing up, they may hold that access — Google lets them transfer or grant it to you.

It says my Google connection needs reconnecting. Why?

Google access expires if the password changes, permissions are revoked, or the grant simply times out. When that happens new reviews stop arriving, so the dashboard shows Reconnect needed on that location and we email you.

Go to Locations and press Reconnect. Nothing is lost — your review history, replies and analytics stay exactly as they were.

Can ResponiQ post to my Google profile or change my business information?

No. We request read-and-reply access only: we can read your reviews and publish replies you have approved. We cannot create posts, run ads, or change your business name, hours or photos. You can revoke our access at any time from your own Google account, without asking us.

Does anything get published without me seeing it?

Not by default. Every reply is drafted for you to approve, edit or reject, and nothing reaches Google until you say so. Auto-approve exists on the Pro plan and is off unless you switch it on — most people run fully manual for a couple of weeks first, then relax it once they trust the drafts.

The reply is in the wrong language.

By default a reply is drafted in the language the review was written in, so a Dutch review gets a Dutch reply. You can override this per location under Locations → reply language if you would rather always answer in one language.

How do I get more reviews?

Under Marketing → Get reviews you will find a QR code and a short link per location, both pointing at your official Google review page, plus a feedback flow that asks for a quick rating first.

Everyone is offered the same Google link whatever they score. We do not send the link only to happy customers — filtering by rating breaches Google’s policy, and the reviews you build up honestly are the ones that keep working.

How does billing work?

Plans are monthly or annual, and there is a 14-day free trial that does not ask for a card. Pro includes three locations, with additional ones charged per location. You can change plan or cancel at any time from Settings → Billing in a web browser; there is no contract and no cancellation fee.

I use the iPhone app and cannot find billing or Google sign-in.

Both are handled on the website rather than in the app. Sign in at responiq.app from a browser to manage your subscription or connect a Google account — Google does not permit its sign-in inside an app webview, and account management lives on the web.

How do I export or delete my data?

Both are self-serve, in Settings. Export gives you your data in a portable file; deletion removes your account and its data. Your reviews themselves live on Google and are unaffected either way — ResponiQ adds a layer on top and never holds anything hostage.

Something broken or urgent?

Email support@responiq.app with “urgent” in the subject. If reviews have stopped arriving, check Locations first — a Google connection needing reconnection is the most common cause and you can fix it yourself in under a minute.
