ResponiQ vs Birdeye
Birdeye quotes you after a call. Our price is on the page.
If you are here because you wanted to know what Birdeye costs and could not find out, that is not an accident — its pricing page is a form. This comparison sets out what we could verify about Birdeye, with a link and a date on every claim, says plainly where Birdeye is the better buy, and shows our price without asking you for anything.

Before the table
Who each of these is actually for
Birdeye
Birdeye is a multi-product platform for brands with many locations and someone whose job it is to run them: monitoring across a long tail of directories, listings management, a social inbox, webchat, payments and referrals, sold with onboarding and a customer success manager attached. Its own pricing page frames the offer as “one platform, one contract — replace point products and pay only for what you deploy at your locations.” For a fifty-location group with a marketing coordinator, that is a coherent purchase and a good product. Those are real customers. They are not ours.
ResponiQ
ResponiQ is for the owner-operator with one to a handful of locations, where Google is where the reviews actually are and there is nobody on staff to run a platform. It does one loop properly: tell you what your customers keep raising, tell you what to fix first, draft the replies in your voice, and then measure whether the fix moved anything. It is bought in an afternoon, not a quarter.

An em-dash in the Birdeye column means we could not verify the answer either way from published material. It does not mean the answer is no. Where we say something is “not described in published materials”, the linked page is the one we checked, on the date shown.
The honest part
When you should choose Birdeye
There are businesses Birdeye serves better than we do, and pretending otherwise would make everything else on this page worth less. If any of the following describes you, buy theirs:
- You run fifty or more locations. At that size the rollout support, the reporting hierarchy and a negotiated contract are worth paying for, and we have none of them.
- You need listings management — keeping name, address and hours correct across dozens of directories. ResponiQ does not do this at all.
- You need monitoring across many review sites rather than depth on one. Birdeye states it tracks 200+ sites; we read and reply on Google Business Profile and nothing else.
- You want a social inbox, webchat and payments in the same product as reviews. We deliberately do not build any of those.
- You want a named customer success manager and structured onboarding. ResponiQ has email support and a founder who answers it.
- Your procurement process requires a SOC 2 report. We do not have one, and a roadmap item is not a certificate.
Where we lose
Platform coverage, and what that number means
ResponiQ reads and replies on Google Business Profile. That is one platform, and on the face of it this is a straightforward loss for us. Birdeye states that it tracks 200+ review sites.[5]
It is worth knowing what the larger number is made of. Replying through an API is not available on Facebook at any price: the Graph API’s Page Ratings edge is read-only, and Meta’s own reference states that create, update and delete cannot be performed on it.[6]
Google Business Profile is the one major platform with a full read-and-reply API a company our size can actually obtain, so depth there is the honest product at this price. We would rather say that than imply a breadth we cannot deliver.

Birdeye
Birdeye is sales-led: its pricing page asks how many locations you have and returns a quote. The range shown is a third-party estimate, not a Birdeye figure — treat it as a starting point for the call, not as the price. What we can state from Birdeye’s own terms is the shape of the commitment: the agreement auto-renews unless you give 90 days’ written notice, and payments made are non-refundable.
Try it before you sit through a demo.
Connect your Google Business Profile and ResponiQ imports your reviews, drafts replies in your voice, and tells you what your customers keep raising. Fourteen days, no card, cancel from your settings.
