ResponiQ vs Podium
Podium starts at twelve months. ResponiQ starts at one.
Podium’s own terms set a twelve-month initial subscription that renews automatically, and its pricing page tells you to talk to sales. ResponiQ bills month to month at a price you can read right now. This page sets out what we could verify about Podium, with a link and a date on every claim, and says plainly where Podium is the better buy.

Before the table
Who each of these is actually for
Podium
Podium sells a customer-communication platform: turn website visitors into text-message conversations, run them from a shared team inbox, take payments in the thread, and collect reviews as part of the same flow. If the bottleneck in your business is inbound leads going unanswered, that is a real and well-built product, and reviews are a sensible thing to attach to it. It is bought through a demo, and it is priced for a business that wants the whole front desk in one place.
ResponiQ
ResponiQ is for a business whose bottleneck is the reviews themselves — piling up unanswered, saying something you have not noticed, and moving a rating you cannot explain. It does one loop properly: surface what customers keep raising, rank what to fix first, draft the replies in your voice, and then measure whether the fix actually moved anything. No phone number, no inbox to staff, no platform to run.

An em-dash in the Podium column means we could not verify the answer either way from published material. It does not mean the answer is no. Where we say something is “not described in published materials”, the linked page is the one we checked, on the date shown.
The honest part
When you should choose Podium
There are businesses Podium serves better than we do, and pretending otherwise would make everything else on this page worth less. If any of the following describes you, buy theirs:
- Your real problem is inbound leads, not reviews. Webchat-to-text conversion is what Podium is built for, and we do not build it.
- You want to take payments in the same thread as the conversation. ResponiQ does not touch payments.
- You want a business phone number and a shared inbox your staff work out of all day. That is a different product from ours, and a bigger one.
- You would rather run one platform for messaging, reviews and marketing than a tool per job — and you have someone whose job it is to run it.
- You are comfortable with an annual commitment in exchange for a negotiated rate. Podium’s terms are built around a twelve-month subscription; ours are not.
Where we lose
Platform coverage, and what that number means
ResponiQ reads and replies on Google Business Profile. That is one platform, and on the face of it this is a straightforward loss for us. Podium’s reviews page does not say which platforms it covers, and competitors in this category routinely advertise coverage of hundreds of sites.[4]
It is worth knowing what the larger number is made of. Replying through an API is not available on Facebook at any price: the Graph API’s Page Ratings edge is read-only, and Meta’s own reference states that create, update and delete cannot be performed on it.[6]
Google Business Profile is the one major platform with a full read-and-reply API a company our size can actually obtain, so depth there is the honest product at this price. We would rather say that than imply a breadth we cannot deliver.

Podium
Podium’s pricing page says plans are “designed to fit your specific business needs, talk to our sales team for details.” The range shown is a third-party estimate, not a Podium figure. What we can state from Podium’s own terms is the shape of the commitment: a twelve-month initial subscription that renews automatically unless you give a month’s notice, with fees non-refundable.
